FORK MOUNTAIN

When an all-American girl is cast as the sole Chinese character in a school play, she must come to terms with how those around her can’t see past her Asian face.

Nature and nurture clash in this short film depicting the unique struggle of “coming out of the fog” / “coming to consciousness” as a transracial adoptee, portrayed by a transracial adoptee director/writer, and in consultation with members of the Asian-American adoptee community.
